Jharkhand’s ‘Biggest’ Gangster Aman Sahu Killed in Encounter After Police Vehicle Overturns

Palamu: Jharkhand's most wanted gangster Aman Sahu has been killed in an encounter in Palamu. Aman Sahu was one of Jharkhand's most wanted criminals and had more than 100 cases registered against him including murder and kidnapping. Aman Sahu was killed in an encounter when he was being brought from Raipur to Ranchi.

Aman Sahu was arrested in Chhattisgarh. From where he is being brought to Ranchi for interrogation. While bringing him to Ranchi, when the police vehicle reached Palamu, it met with an accident. After which Aman Sahu got a chance and tried to escape by snatching the weapon from the police, after which the police encountered him. According to the police, Sahu tried to escape after the police jeep overturned. While trying to escape, he fired at the officers, injuring a Jharkhand Police Jawan. In response, the police also fired, which resulted in his death.

Who was Aman Sahu?
Aman Sahu faces several criminal charges, including conspiracy to shoot a coal trader in broad daylight in Ranchi on March 7. All the accused fled the scene after the attack and Sahu was identified as the main conspirator. He was being brought to Jharkhand from Raipur for legal proceedings due to his involvement in this and other criminal activities.
